The Sailmaker’s House caters to the confident and self-sufficient traveler. At our historic inn there is no front desk and the innkeeper does not live onsite. Each reservation is assigned a unique 4-digit code to the front door and bedroom, we encourage you let yourself in and make yourself at home. We strive to provide you with all the information and amenities you will need to enjoy your stay with us and a friendly member of our team will be available by phone or text at all hours.
All guests have access to high-speed wireless internet, snacks, coffee, tea and water in our common area mini bar. We also have a selection of magazines and newspapers, and our lush 3-season garden area is open to all guests and features areas to lounge in the shade of our cherry and peach trees.
If there is something you think we may have forgotten to mention, we would love to hear from you. Never hesitate to reach out and provide us with feedback.
There is no food service offered at The Sailmaker's House. We encourage our guests to take advantage of the many exceptional culinary options Portsmouth has to offer. We do provide light snack options that are available 24/7 at the coffee station in the common area.
